A BIT ABOUT ME
As the Nice Jewish Psychic, I feel blessed to have received my wonderful psychic gifts from God. I know I am "special" and I use my gifts wisely. I feel so lucky to know my "purpose" in life.
I started calling myself the Nice Jewish Psychc 20 years ago when I started doing psychic readings professional. I lived in the San Fernando Valley, a suberb of Los Angeles. I began advertising in the L.A. Weekly. There were so many psychics that I wanted to set myself apart from the, so I began calling myself the Nice Jewish Psychic. Other psychics caught on, and started calling themselves The Nice Polish Psychic, The Nice European Psychic, etc. It was quite funny.
My Jewish parents were quite shocked when I began doing professional psychic readings in 1985. They thought I had lost my mind; however, when they saw I was making a nice living and that I had many repeat customers, they began their very slow progression of acceptance. When my father called me to ask where his keys were, I know they had finally accepted my psychic abilities, but that took years. Before then, I was "hidden" from my dad's side of the family for many years. I was not allowed to associate with relatives on my dad's side. God forbid they would find out what I did for a living. In 1989, they finally insisted that I attend a Thanksgiving Dinner at a relative's house. I was specifically told NOT to tell them I was a psychic. What I discovered that night was that many of my dad's relatives (3rd cousins, etc.) were psychics and very metaphysical and spiritual, and they couldn't understand why I hadn't been around the family for so long. Later on, there was a huge family event where they actually seated me at a table with all psychics and healers.

A NICE JEWISH PSYCHIC NUDIST
In my early 40's, I became a nudist, and oy vey, my family was again quite shocked. I now live in a nudist resort in Florida and I live the nudist lifestyle fulltime. There is a huge Jewish nudist community here, and we have Break the Fast Dinners for Yom kippur and Passover Sedars. The Jewish nudist community is a very tight community here. Again, I had to keep it a secret. About 5 years ago, I confided in a family friend and was told that my Aunt and Uncle (my dad's sister) were nudists for many years. I only found this out after my Aunt had passed away. I cried for the whole day, because I was never able to share it with her, and my parents knew. I recently told my cousins in Israel that I was a nudist. They were surprised and very accepting.
I AM UNIQUE AND PROUD OF IT.
I have turned the shame of being unique and different into being proud of my uniqueness. I don't "hide" myself, and I am very expressive and open. What you see is what you get. Since I was raised to keep secrets, I absolutely hate secrets.
