There is a huge Jewish nudist community here in Pasco County, Florida. We have break the fast dinners for Yom Kippur and Passover Sedars every year. Everyone brings their favorite Jewish dish. Delicious!
I am not your typical Nice Jewish Nudist Gal; however, I am unique and proud of it!
I am a single Jewish nudist who just happens to love the nudist lifestyle. I am a professional psychic and reiki master, and I take my businesses very seriously.
My parents, who are very old fashioned and from the old country, already couldn't handle my career choice of being a psychic.They had a real tough time with it. Becoming a nudist only added to the shock for my parents. Can you imagine me going to Temple and announcing to everyone that I am a nudist and a psychic? When I became a nudist in 1992. that only added to the shock for my parents.
Yes, I could have hidden my nudist lifestyle from my parents, but I didn't want to hide it. Becoming a nudist had a profound and life changing effect on me. I couldn't keep it a secret. It became a huge part of my life every weekend, and a big part of my conversations. Out of respect for my mother (who kept telling me I would go to hell), I did not tell our relatives. I wanted to though. My dad would get a big smile on his face when we talked about my nudist club. I know he would have gone in a second, but my mom was against it. He was dying to tell our relatives. He would blurt out at family functions: "Look Linda has an all over tan". Some of our relatives are orthodox, and maybe for that reason, they did not catch on. If they did, they didn't say anything.
I was raised by a Jewish mother who constantly told me as I was growing up to "cover up". I have a funny little toe, and I wasn't allowed to go barefoot or wear sandles as I was growing up. It embarrassed her, but it didn't embarrass me. I felt quite insecure about my body and up until my mid twenties, I wouldn't wear a bathing suit.
I thought I had to look perfect, so when I discovered the nudist lifestyle the first time when I was 25, it was an incredible freeing experience. I spent the whole entire summer going every weekend to a nude beach. WOW! I had a boyfriend at that time who introduced me to the nudist lifestyle.
More than 17 years went by before I found that wonderful peaceful feeling again when I went to a nudist resort at 42 years of age. IT WAS WOW ALL OVER AGAIN. This time, I didn't let it go. I am now a member of a nudist resort in Pasco County, Florida.
Recently, I told my cousins in Israel that I lived in a nudist resort and waited for them to "freak out". That actually never happened. One of them found it very amusing and the others were quite curious and asked a lot of questions. They were very accepting of my lifestyle, or so it appeared.
